Just watched the 60 Minutes segment. Basically it debunks the fundamental claim used by Trump admin that the detainees it sent there are “terrorists” and corroborates torture using clips from El Salvadorean influencers Bukele uses internally. Would be a shock to low information voters, probably

All of these bootlegged copies of the 60 Minutes segment flooding my feed (saying, ‘Watch it quick! Before it disappears!’) makes me feel like I’m in the Soviet Union and just got some black market foreign newspaper I need to hide under a floorboard in my house.

This is where America is now

As long as we can’t see the 60 minutes episode, I figured I’d reup this little chestnut (have to wonder whether this underreported angle featured in the segment) open.substack.com/pub/asharang...
What's the Real Quid Pro Quo with Bukele?
Hint: It's not about fighting "terrorism," or stopping illegal immigration.

That’s for sure!

The responses from MTG and Thomas Massie are examples of how deciding not to comply with Trump’s lotalty tests sets you free.

Trump is one sicko!
Still in a state of shock trying to process the tragic loss of one of the most gifted men in the entertainment industry & his wife when the Embarrassment-in-Chief disgraces common human decency with this repulsive, deranged statement.

Every part of this is bonkers. The intro is bonkers. The transition to his health is bonkers. The mention that other presidents didn't need cognitive exams is bonkers. The claim that this screening test is somehow hard is bonkers. The idea that criticism of him is treason is bonkers. All of it.

Since I haven’t seen anyone mention this: When the U.S. commits war crimes it puts our troops in danger also, as it gives a green light to other countries that they can do the same to us
