It is all like a bad comedy. It gets more absurd and ridiculous by the hour. I think they are just literally scanning for keywords at this point no matter where or how they are used.

Theyre also bouncing back grants which anywhere use the banned words. Just heard someone got bounced out because their last name contains a banned word lmao.

Literally try to write any paper with any hard math proofs without using the words equality, inequality, status, excluded, systematic, discriminatory etc.

This little flowchart also bans the study of about half of statistics, data science, and machine learning. I can think of a dozen papers from the top of my head that use a bunch of these flagged terms and have absolutely nothing to do with anything but Math/Computer Science.

That story is bs btw. One of the directors forwarded his copy to everyone in his organization accidentally, and that's the copy that leaked. The so called leaker version has been bs cover up of a self own.

Doing this while defunding the NIH is absolutely diabolical. Boosting AI infrastructure is going to need domain experts to consult, especially in ethical minefields like anything medical/health related.
