I was 13 years old when I became aware that I was trans. It was 1976. I was not groomed. I told no one. It was a different era. I'm nearly 62 years old now. Being trans wasn't a phase that I outgrew, although I did bury it for a half century. Denied it. I didn't sign up to be trans. I just am!
