It really is saddening to see in a climate crisis, the legislating to remove the passenger cap, commencement of Dublin-Derry short flights instead of rail, a skip on the weight-tax once again. We have so far to go on education & progress but we can't give up #Budget2026 #ireland #neoliberalism

Nobody in Ireland who works full-time should be paying more than 33% of their monthly income on rent. If you are, try have a respectful conversation with your landlord about fairness & whose responsibility it is to meet those mortgage repayments. If all else fails, join a union.

'Post-truth' was nominated word of the year by Oxford dictionaries back in 2016. The current Israeli administration have done a masterful job in weaponizing this phenomenon. Established facts by the world´s leading institutions are routinely manipulated by weak logical fallacies.

If the government lifts the passenger cap, it will lose what little legitimacy it has left on climate action.

Such a move would be a betrayal of current and future generations in Ireland and around the world.
