Just so ridiculously happy I got the old hard drives booted last year; even still, don't have many videos of Si and Am because you always think there's plenty of time to take videos of your horses later, but sometimes later just... isn't 🥲 god I miss em more than life itself, every day

I finally found the original old scan of the horse OC I hastily drew on a lunch break on 9/28/07, to be part of a roleplay group in the early deviantART horse herd, who became my lifelong sona; he is only grey/black and white because I didn't have any colors besides a regular pencil with me 😆

Turns out, even with only 11 horses on the farm, there were two birthdays today! Spicy young mare Austin turns 5 and sweet old guy Levi turns 30 ❤️

Monday featured a visit to Grandfather Cuts Loose the Ponies, the wild horse monument in Washington, overlooking the Columbia River Gorge on I-90, always a must-see stop (and a bit of an interesting hike in 100°F weather)
