Exactly. The minute I read Bessent and Lutnick were on Air Force One heading to Alaska with Trump it was obvious what this was all about. Wasn’t Hegseth not even on the plane initially? This was not about Ukraine.

This only demonstrates that no country should give up its nuclear arsenal because who knows how alliances will shape up in the future. And UK and US are directly to blame for this logic as they have failed their end of the bargain.

It’s usually partnerships with local universities. I’m not aware of any degree granting standalone foreign outposts of US unis

I do understand that. But you replied to a discussion of American immigration policy on au pairs, not au pairs more broadly. Ergo your comment will be assumed to relate to that unless you start with “in the UK…”. If we’re talking oranges and you say it’s red, expect people a rebuttal.

What’s the legal ground again? I thought lower court ruling was that they can’t revoke en masse, which govt appealed saying case by case was not possible and this ruling is a stay of lower court. So is there any other ground for appeal? Ie how narrow is scotus ruling?

Related but not same. Technically all jobs require training. I guarantee if you ask 100 people whether a camp worker is here for work or education they will say work. Do you disagree?
