With all due respect, im sure karl marx meant that metaphorically, not literally. Also as they have already shown they don't need to disarm you to throw you face down in the dirt, if anything it allows them to justify killing you

If you wanted to let everyone know you let a bunch of other people read and interpret a 14 page bill for you, congrats, cows and planes were only mentioned in a joking reply to someone asking about details, the bill didn't put forward any solutions and instead incentivised finding them

I mean, anything can be a fact if you blindly believe it without actually checking it or writing off proffesionals views because of money, but you have to eventually realize this is just another form of blind obedience

Happy holidays is a phrase that has been used for ages, along side merry christmas. Some people aren't christans either not to mention any real moral figures within the religion don't care if you use the two interchangeably and instead hate the drive to spend money because of it, this is just sad.

Okay, and that is good for you, all im saying is you have to gauge to you wether that engagement is important, tate became popular on twitter not because of racism but for insulting fans of starwars in a stupid way, basically ask yourself if you have a point to prove, and if its worth the time

Thats where discretion comes in, i personnally see no reason to discuss tate because everyone already knows he's a terrible person, its more about dealing with normal people online who aren't famous, i belive the reason he used tate as an example is because of how he became well known on twitter.

Yes, but you have to use discretion to decide if it's worth discussing versus the free advertisment they will get, im not against discussion but you need to know when you should and shouldn't discuss something

Yeah i agree, you need to use discretion to know if its worth discussing, and you need to weigh it against whether its worth giving them free advertising

I agree discussion is important but you need to use discretion to know whether something is worth the time discussing verses the free advertising they may have been after the entire time

I will admit its been a couple of days since i saw the vid, so i probably forgot that bit, but simply the point is, it is statistically unlikely you'll change someones mind about something, and if you react to everyone who says something you percive as incorrect you are advertising them

I mean, yes but i think its still quite pointless to argue the obvious things like racism is bad when the other person is obviously set in their ways, he doesn't say others were bad for discussing it, but simply that it furthered the reach of what ever is being commented on, basically use discretion

Personaly i would find it weirder to talk about what music you like and intergect part way through with "oh btw he's a child rapist" or something, you are allowed to enjoy something someone made without carrying around the negative things they did, especially when said person can't profit.

I mean, overall i thought he made some good points, it wasn't so much about not pointing out things that are bad but more about not pointing things out that everybody should already know or reacting to things designed to cause backlash, basically don't fall for the saying any press is good press

If n is the sample size like it often is, that is a laughably small sample for a very big group

Not really, some animals like lion fish are invasive and have no natural predators, if we don't get involved in those scenarios we could see massive declines in bio diversity, foxes are not in that list though

I think people hate you because you type like a infuriated intermediate level kid, vegans can be pushy but you realize that if you are going to generalize them, that leaves you open to being generalized in sweeping statements aswell

I mean, i think the point of the original message was less about the soviets making it and more about how much they used it for similar reasons as it is now being used
