New #Severance theory: it’s taking place in the 70’s/early 80’s, but cell phones (flip style, not smart) exist? ALL of the other tech looks super dated, and the wide shot of the parking lot shows nothing but old cars, and I’ve not seen a single “newer” style in any shots that I can recall.
