Trump doesn't have a true political ideology. He's a narcissistic conman. He's probably always leaned conservative/libertarian as far as taxes & regulation. As a young lawyer Roy Cohn was Sen McCarthy's general counsel & decades later DJT's advisor. It seems he was a major influence on DJT.

What's almost forgotten now is that Stan Bowman tried to do a retool, like say the Lightning,
from 2017-2021. The result was a team w/o enough talent to make the playoffs and a weak prospect pool. A full rebuild was the right call at the time for the Blackhawks.

People should not be taking their ugly station wagons off-road anywhere.

I can't wait for December to be over. What a rough month for the Blackhawks and fans after such optimism in November.

Does anyone else remember when Trump asked the oil industry for $1 billion? I'm sure starting a war with Venezuela over oil has nothing to do with his campaign ask.
December 17, 2025 at 4:06 AM
Trump is admitting they're killing fisherman? Is there another clip where he admits it's to start a conflict for a regime change and capture oil fields for the oil industry?

I believe they've already been in suburban hotbeds of crime like Wilmette and Northbrook (hah). I didn't understand Wilmette at all as I imagine the town overall leans GOP.
Pretty soon they might get to an actual border, the WI/IL state line. It'd be funny if they raided Uline or Amazon though.

Cutting flights before Thanksgiving? Don't worry, Kash Patel & Noem have private jets to travel around paid for by taxpayers while the proles have flights cut. On Musk's site I'm sure all the Russian paid propagandists & bots are saying they voted for this.

Yes, Justice Thomas wrote concurring opinion on Dobbs calling for birth control & same sex marriage to be revisited. He's like a Leonard Leo sleeper cell. People may have forgotten Thomas was still on the bench, but Trump got 3 noms which activated Thomas in a 6-3 majority.

Dems want to negotiate on the cuts to ACA subsidies which doubles health insurance for 20M. Trump cut those to partially pay for the tax cuts to billionaires, so he doesn't want to change them. The GOP strategy in the shutdown is to starve people, blame Dems & force them to cave on the ACA credits.
November 7, 2025 at 1:02 AM
Funny. But unlike Typhoid Mary, there's no quarantine for Judge Cannon & apparently she's going to be a judge as long as she wants. Also she'd be on Trump's short list of people to nominate for SCOTUS should one of them retire.
November 4, 2025 at 4:39 PM
So when they indiscriminately throw tear gas on streets in Chicago, the gas magically only impacts undocumented immigrants? It's so very Big Bro/1984 of her to ask everyone to not believe their eyes & ears, and trust the recipient of 2 new private jets for $170M.
October 30, 2025 at 7:18 PM
True. Dems could also have someone run as a GOP or Libertarian, pretend to hate all the right things, and then they switch party. There's a rep in NC that did this. It'd take forethought & planning which Dems aren't great at.
They should astroturf a populist liberal mvmt like the Tea Party as well.

So Bartiromo is worried that if Mamdani wins, Muslim women will have to be completely covered up like ICE agents? There's heavily armed masked feds with little or no training throwing tear gas like candy in a parade patrolling city streets and w/a straight face she's rolling out that disinformation?
October 29, 2025 at 7:06 PM
I agree with his premise that using the Insurrection Act is an extreme measure. I'm not sure why Cameron is worried about a far-left president when Trump's ICE is shooting priests in the face w/pepper balls & using tear gas indiscriminately in residential areas.

Staying out of World War 1 for several years & selling arms to both sides was a big factor. A steady flow of cheap labor, slaves at 1st then waves of immigrants, was also key. It's a Libertarian created myth that feeding the hungry, housing the poor, or a strong middle class drains an economy.
October 27, 2025 at 6:59 PM
I think the 3rd term talk from Trump is rooted in 'Stop talking about the shutdown & Epstein Files'. But, hypothetically, what would stop him from running? Republicans who have already submitted to him? Lol. A lawsuit that goes before SCOTUS? Their ruling would depend on who else the GOP has to run.
October 27, 2025 at 5:25 PM
Reagan would have been pushed out of the modern Republican party 8 years ago. Thinly veiled racism disguised as the War on Drugs, the trickle down theory destroying the middle class, etc., all of it, he'd be a RINO today. That's how far to the right the GOP has moved.

By design voting in America is somewhat inconvenient. A Tuesday in Nov made sense at one point, but if one is a single parent with a day job, can't get to/from a voting booth on lunch, if trolls from Russia are calling bomb threats in Dem leaning districts, etc., it could be easier to vote.
October 26, 2025 at 9:49 PM
Comfortably Numb is my favorite Pink Floyd song, but Sheep from Animals describes some Trump voters. Actually all of Animals is relevant as we move towards the totalinarism & Big Brother Orwell wrote about in Animal Farm & 1984. The Fletcher Memorial Home describes Trump & co. very aptly as well.
October 26, 2025 at 6:04 PM
The people around Trump welcome his outburts. He's like a malignant sleight of hand to distract people from their real tricks, grifting & dismantling the federal government. This week he tore down the East Wing & asked for $230M. Those moves shifted some attn away from the shutdown & Epstein Files.
October 24, 2025 at 8:28 PM
Peak cognitive dissonance in 2024 was voting for Republicans while expecting things Democrats accomplish to continue, such as a growing economy, strong labor market, ACA tax credits, SNAP, Medicare/Medicaid, the 4th Amendment, journalism that isn't government controlled, etc.
October 23, 2025 at 3:22 PM
Who would've thought that a NY conman real estate developer, who was found guilty of fraud, wouldn't really care about farmers & ranchers? They danced while giving $40B to Millie. I'm reminded of the horse in Animal Farm, watching the pigs feast inside while their own life was a little worse.
October 23, 2025 at 2:09 AM
Seems like an untrained ICE agent was using a loaded gun recklessly. I hope they were fired and charged with attempted manslaughter.
October 23, 2025 at 1:37 AM
Those Epstein Files must be incredibly incriminating for several powerful people including Trump for him to openly ask for $230M from the DOJ and tear down the East Wing of the White House.
