People put a great value on openness and honesty. I think that will pull you through

Don't shut down, Keep being transparent, look for A Canadian alternative and transition when you find one that fits.

Some people may take a hard line and not buy on the chance that their purchase may come through the US but based on the comments, not many.

... And why would you be any different than the rest of us?.. 😁

Open your eyes.
Look at what's happening across the country. CristoFascism is growing roots targeting immigrants, the LBGTQ community and those they think is Woke. In Quebec, under the name of secularism, they are targeting Muslims while a crusafix hangs front and center in the National Assembly

This caught my eye because the graphic looks like a rip-off of the graphics painted on our Woodworking Club's garage doors.

Turns out the link brings you to "Ted's Woodworking" which based on many, many comments in a large number of forums is pretty much a sham.

Proceed with caution.

Where's Rusty?

It's already here, stoked by Pierre Poilievre with his constant stream of misinformation, Daniel Smith with her side stepping the UCS conspiracy theory advocates, playing with Alberta independence, and the encroachment of the CristoFascism on our school and cities wanting to ban books and more.

That a graduating student has the insight and maturity to link what was done to our indigenous peoples to what is happening in Palestine right now should be applauded. It's mostly women and children being killed, recently when they go to aid stations to stave off starvation, by Israeli troops.

They promote far right ideology and do what they can to disrupt the accredited news media. Rebel uses disruptive tactics in the Leaders Debate news room during the Leaders debate they resulting in the cancellation of media scrum afterward effectively playing into Poilievre avoid the media tactics.

Ahh Tod, Not the Muppets... You could have used cockroaches, rats, blood suckers, lampreys, Lyme carrying ticks...

..... Wait.... That would be unfair to them as well

Oh well, at least I tried to help

This is a pretty broad statement.

If you glue riff sawn maple and walnut on edge for an 18" charcuterie board, the difference in expansion with a 4% change in MC is less than 3/64". Modern glues are capable of dealing with this.

Key to success is understanding movement and building accordingly

Very nice! I love the woven seat.

The source is most likely the sawdust interacting with the exhaust hose. First thing I'd is wrapping aluminum foil tape on the first foot of hose as it come out of the saw and grounding that with some wire to an outlet face plate screw.

If that works, you can make the solution a bit more eloquent

Any human endeavor benefits when it is inclusive, open to all regardless of their sexual orientation, colour, or spiritual beliefs. Woodworking is no exception and the works highlighted in the article are clearly inspirational.

I don't work entirely by hand but the two planes I reach for all the time are my Veritas #4 and Veritas low angle block plane.

The block plane pretty much lives in my apron pocket. It is the most useful of all my planes.

I checked it out. That's not spoon making, that's sculpture inspired by spoons. Beautiful stuff. I can see how that would inspire.

I've never seen spoons like this. They really are art. Masterfully done.

Looks good! I went through a similar process. I found the flex hose really impacted performance. If you can use rigid pipe, with at least two feet straight before the cyclone, on the collection side, with minimal flex connecting the rigid to your machines, you should see quite an improvement.
