Does college football’s new math play into #NotreDame’s trickle of freshman early contributors?

Just 9 of 25 have seen game action so far. Only 2 have played more than 40 offensive/defensive snaps. After two games, the 25 collectively had played 5 plays.

#NotreDame CB Leonard Moore and DL Donovan Hinish have been upgraded from questionable to probable for Saturday's Boise State game. That comes from the latest Irish injury/availability report. Backup DE Preston Zinter (concussion) has been ruled out for the 2nd straight week.

#NotreDame QB CJ Carr's pass-efficiency rating climbed to 181.1 after Saturday's 56-13 win at Ark. That's 10th nationally, 1 spot behind former ND recruiting storyline/current Oregon QB Dante Moore (183.5). Carr's rating is 20 points higher than the single-season school record.
