Sigh. Ad hominems unhelpful. Yes data centres will go from 1.5% of electricity use to 3%.

Meanwhile we ignore utterly useless sources of wasteful energy use

right - interesting!! I looked up wikipedia out of curiosity! Archer won on a margin of 1.43% - It's hard to tell if these actually came from voters that voted Greens #1 or independent, Lambie or ONP (these are all more likely to support the Torries than Greens voters are).

Just between you and me, I don't think most of my followers are real people 😉

This isn't true. Not a defense of Israel but facts matter.

wohh... the cat and mouse game between those trying to make #ai #llm models behave and those whispering at them to be naughty is quite a thing.... apparently this is how you get metas latest model to give you a recipe you shouldn't want.

Shouting at your friends won't save your country. Gotta hit them in the mid-terms. #uspol #handsoff

Not wanting to dilute your message, which is great, but 2 is at the low end of CF ratios. The upshot of this is that we need to go harder and faster on renewables. Capacity is easier to quantify but tends to overstate the momentum and we cannot afford complacency.

but good to see there's still some life left in the swamp

I posted this in 4 years ago, on the bird site. The orientation associated with the most anterior tube tip location (pink) is slighted yawed enabling the tube to pitch down proximally, and thus pitch up distally. Rolling the tube (orange & blue) lowers the tip. ( @chrimesy.com FYI)

Related to this, is the need to better explain the adverse impact of bending the tracheal tube over the upper teeth. So I made an online tool that trainees can use on their phones. erichbschulz.github.io/tubebend/

There's easy gains to be made by better decomposing the the geometry of tube insertion into the three distinct axes of rotation. Descriptions that state "advance from the right" and "rotate" are confusing and ambiguous, oversimplifying reality leavin trainess to figure out the optimal orientation

I believe we can improve #intubation success rates for non-anaesthetists. Even with video laryngoscopy, first pass success rates are too low outside of operating theatres.
