An hour before Christmas Day - all the money spent, gifts wrapped, food organised, - sitting down watching news from Syria, Gaza, Ukraine etc etc on TV and wondering how those people carry on.
I don’t feel the Christmas spirit all of a sudden.

Just sitting here with my glass of red, trying to decide which cruise to book for next year and wondering how I’m Going to manage without the winter fuel payment this year.

UK people- how much smaller can they make tubs of Quality Street, Roses etc. before we stop buying them. Now 600 g including wrappings!!
