Just now seeing this thread (thanks to Celeste) and I’m glad you chose Dark Urge for your second run, not your first.

Side note: I did not try Speak with Animals until my second run. It does almost nothing for actual gameplay, and yet it’s one of the best things in the game.

Last night, I was having my best run so far on that map. We actually got the blessing at the end of Day 1. And then I got disconnected and couldn’t rejoin.

I’ve beaten the DLC bosses but not on that map.

*but* I tried again, got the regular map, and got my first win against Dreglord

lol I had a run tonight where we got the big crystal blessing at the end of Day 1. It was almost entirely thanks to my random teammates and I was excited to see what we could do on Day 2.

And then I got disconnected and couldn’t log back in …

That’s one of my favorite things about playing Duchess. And I’m excited we can now get the respec relics in the base game. Faith Duchess is great, especially for versatility.

I think it’s worth it to give up some individual attack power to support the whole team.

I’d love to swap out the middle one for something more exciting, but the extra Vigor+3 is useful. At least while I’m trying to defeat Dreglord and need all the HP I can get.

The change is that I used to have Hoarfrost Stomp and Magic Attack boosts, and I only used my ult defensively. Now I use it all the time, and it’s great.

I’ve kept playing Duchess and the synergy with Scholar, Undertaker, and her is so much fun. I’ve completely switched up my relics and my approach to when I use my ult.

Oh it was just a dumb joke, as if you had set up a joke/honeypot, and then, as things progressed, lost track of the original intent and fallen in.

And now that I’ve explained it, I’ve made it even more hilarious!
