I need to work on sounding less sincere. I was at the post office and I jokingly said to the lady behind the counter "I'm sure you're not busy this time of year." And then I started to hear boss music, and a big HP bar appeared.

When I listen to my local public radio station on the weekend, I think "Yes, these are the correct and - might I add - perfect times for these shows to air." And whenever I listen to another public radio station I think "What, are they crazy for putting these on at these times?! This is insanity!!!"

A repeating theme I find on @thisamericanlife.org are stories which boil down to "My parents are textbooks narcissists, here's how I navigated my life around them." Is it really that common? Or does being raised in an NPD house lead someone towards radio?
