This is insanity short sited. This degrades security for everyone. And abdicates US leadership in this space.

I used to work in the iron mountain facility at Boyers. It’s effectively an underground office park. It has both government and private tenants. It is NOT accessed by an elevator. It’s a tunnel into a hillside. The drive cars and trucks into it daily.
