I'm looking to launch Book III in October of this year, so keep your eyes pealed if you want to jump on the E-ARC campaign later this year once the other phases of editing are done, including a round with beta-readers!

I did have another cover concept that I may show off later as a bonus, but ultimately, I felt like it wasn't turning out the way I wanted.

I seem to be getting better at making these, since this only required a few thumbnails before I began executing it.

Now, a bit about the piece. I painted this in December over a few sessions, all in all, three hours of work, not including messing with the title and text. I am super happy with how it turned out!

I do not have a blurb yet, but I am working on a tagline, and the work-in-progress one is: "She made a deal with the devil, and the devil is coming to collect."

just obfuscates the facts. It's citing a simple definition without allowing a more nuanced discussion to be held.

Lying on national TV, using billionaire backed resource networks to spread coded white supremacist ideology should NOT be protected speech.

And if you disagree with that...

I said what I fucking said. PinkTweets can eat a dick. There is legitemate journalistic research into this and they can deny it all they want and carry water for the enemy, but it won't change what so many of us have come to understand.

It is the fucking truth, moron. If you'd grown up in the Evangelical "movement", you'd know what this has done to our families and communities. Truth is more than what's codified in our laws, just look at the Jim Crow era.

While it is true that many news stations often avoided controversial subjects to avoid issues with the FCC, and the repeal did benefit liberals in some areas, in the wake of it people like Limbaugh surged in popularity. It was an imperfect tool, but demolishing it wasn't the answer. It still stands

I think you know the point of this post is related to the direct correlation of the rise of pundits like Rush Limbaugh and Fox News, and the proliferation of the interests of Evangelicals (read, white supremacists) in the US. It made it easier to disseminate propaganda, and that is widely accepted.

Thank you as always for reading! That series needs some love. Lol

Finishing III is going to be after finishing the dev edits for Neo Rackham II. I'm hoping to re-launch the whole series with it later this year.

Fall of Ara'ka was originally painted in black and white, and then color was painted overtop. And...yeah, I should really get back to drafting Book III soon. Still need to figure out how to market that series. I've had a cover concept for Book III for a while, it's just not fully manifested.

The 2022 one was where I really started to feel like I was getting the hang of cover design. Maybe one day I'll redesign it. I don't know. I remember it not converting that well after a while.
