Suffering through another Vancouver February

I remember the first time I got paid a double digit wage for farm work in SK. I got paid at time and a half to shovel rancid grain out of a silo—Felt like I was shovelling money. 😂

My favourite chapter so far just describes a walk through a muddy field. She can make the most mundane things feel existential, haha. I also love the way she describes the prairie—captures my feelings for the place.

Picked up this one again while prepping for a French exam. Classic Canadiana is hitting very well at this point in the news cycle.
