Nick Offerman playing Chester Arthur as a drunken thug in over his head was a delight to watch. But Matthew Mcfayden as unstable and delusional Charles Guiteau deserves an Emmy. It was like he was in a different show, a more serious one.

I was excited for Death by Lightning because there's so many little episodes in American history like the Garfield assassination that are bonkers and deserve a screen treatment.
The results were mixed though, some phenomenal acting drags the very bad writing and direction over the finish line
