A shadow DOJ could certainly go hand-in-hand with a Shadow Cabinet. the sticky part is that in the Parliamentary system the minority leader becomes PM after a successful election and we don’t have a similar person in the Presidential system, with bicameral minority leaders unlikely to become Prez

Yes, but painful reality is that the “good guys” don’t always win. The winning team in WWII included some pretty bad guys. And the “good guys” on that team? Ask the Indians, the Africans, SE Asians & S Americans just how good they were. You go with the team you have, yeah?
