The NES version of Pinbot had a level where alien leeches would hop around and try to eat your ball, so if we’re moving towards that future, I for one welcome our new computer pinball overloads.

A different Shinders branch is where I once, as a youth church attendee, saw our youth church leader going through the swinging double-doors to the porno mag section.

There were other Shinders branches! You did not need to go the Shinders branch that was in closest proximity to your church!!

I’m a big fan of jizz.

Hey!! I’m just talking about the fictional music genre!

I definitely paid over $90 for season 1 of the X-Files on DVD in 2000.

At least have the good sense to put Til I Hear it From You on it!
Turns out the band with the name referencing alcohol-induced blood vessel damage whose first song’s chorus is about being drunk in “the gardens and the graves” could not survive creatively without the guy who suffered from alcoholism.

Then they release Follow You Down as the lead single from Congratulations I’m Sorry, which is a criminally terrible leadoff single from a new album.

But that whole album sucked!! It probably was in the top two or three songs. Not Only Numb is the best, but a poor leadoff single.

Fast forward to summer of 1995 and Til I Hear It From You comes out and I thought “Hmm, well I guess they don’t need him, since this song is amazing”.

I was already interested in the band when I learned Doug Hopkins had died. His name was all over the NME songwriting credits and I wondered about what the next album would eventually sound like without his involvement.

It’s a great back-to-back watch with Heat; Mann really fetishes guys who are so dedicated to a cause that their families fall apart. Wouldn’t want them in my family but gripping to watch.

I read an interview with Clare Danes today and do you think they asked her about a show she was in that did not make it to a second season and was broadcast 30+ years ago? Oh hell yeah

I'm tempted to crack open the deluxe set I bought in spring just to compare the two, but feel like I need to keep it sealed until they announce an SACD Tusk so I don't need to keep looking at the Tusk Deluxe version that's $250 on Discogs.

So while upon relistening, this might be my favorite Fleetwood Mac album front-to-back (Lindsey's Tusk tracks, done in a Kiss Solo Album style with his face, would be above it), the mix is as boring as any high-fidelity audio I have heard.

And some multi-channel mixes can have good stereo mixes, too. I have the DVD-A of Flaming Lips' Soft Bulletin and that sounds great.

There's a reason that Mobile Fidelity, for all the bad press they have done to their brand, just focuses on stereo -- they reliably knock their mixes out of the park every time.

Final thoughts: I suppose if anyone is buying an Atmos Version of a Blu Ray of Fleetwood Mac, they probably aren't placing a priority on its stereo mixing.

Sounds fine. Again, would have been nicer to get the two guitars more separated, instead of 'wall', but resigned to how this will sound
