Good to hold these guys accountable, but you, other folks at MSNOW, and Dems in Congress need to look at other dimensions of this scandal relating to things like money laundering and the Putin connection.

Oh, and you’re simply wrong about shoplifting and crime not being factors in business closings. I don’t know about Kroger’s in Lake City but there’s plenty of evidence about this, both in general and in relation to specific stores like City People’s.

I know it’s about choice but it evokes a kind of liberation from children in this context. Never mind that this is the kind of thing that undermines leftist electoral progress. As a parent, it actually makes me question your school board endorsements. Correct me if I’m misreading this.

I always look at your endorsements for guidance (though I never completely agree). Sometimes your language gives me pause. This time it was the choice of “childfree” rather than just saying “don’t have children.” I get it, but it sounds too much like a political stance. Is it?

You’re right. You made me and a lot of small-d democrats unhappy. How can you say Democrats should defend constitutional democracy but not oppose egregious partisan gerrymandering, especially when it departs from the norm of doing redistricting in census years? Yes, Dems do it too but less so.

Missed having your show to watch tonight with the new round of tariff craziness! :)

If you are suggesting that Alexander Hamilton didn’t support tariffs, you’re completely wrong. But it is probably true that he would think Trump’s approach to tariffs is irrational and crazy. Even so, I don’t want the left to fight Trump with neoliberalism (something Hamilton would have opposed!).
