I think our PM is heading that way. Not a formal membership perhaps but I think he is correct that all the middle powers banded together are strong enough to stand up for ourselves. We need to expand that coalition beyond Europe and N. America to the south and Asia too. 🤝

We did get the call on 9/11. 26 NATO members sent troops to defend the US. Hundreds died doing so. It was the only time Article 5 has been activated.

De NAVO moet nu gewoon acteren alsof de VS er geen deel meer van uit maakt, de facto is dat al zo. Troepen naar Groenland sturen (ook Canadezen) als signaal naar Trump. Je plan gaat zinloos ook VS levens kosten. Ook prima signaal naar Poetin.

Uitslag valt tegen. Groei D66 is mooi, revival VVD ondanks dunne verhaal en slecht trackrecord verbazend, afslag deel PVV-kiezers naar JA21 en VVD minder dan verwacht. Wellicht had GL-PvdA beter een jaar eerder (ondanks inhoud Timmermans) een stemmenmagneet moeten lanceren. Volt ondergewaardeerd.
