Celebrated my middle daughter’s upcoming Wednesday birthday yesterday while my other daughter is home. We had homemade spice cake, vegetarian green chile chili & chicken soft tacos, and the girls and I made Halloween bracelets and watched some shows. It was bliss!

My mom heart is happy. 🫶🏼

My youngest Addie is home from college for fall break (an extended weekend)! We went to hunt treasures & watch the sunset together last night & eat our faves. She’s doing well at school but nice to be back together & lots of hugs! Mom & nature therapy. 💛🌞🥰

I take forever to read things atm, but these are the 3 books I’m reading currently: The Possession of Alba Diaz by @isabelcanas.bsky.social & The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by @sgj.bsky.social + trying out audiobooks before bed, so 1st one is Don’t Let Him In by Lisa Jewell.

Happy October, my favorite month! 🧡 I spent yesterday (the 1st) working on book PR & editing, going to a library and for a walk in the evening, and enjoying flowers from our garden beds at home. It was a gorgeous day (as is today, too)!
