Waking up to a time change is weird in a high tech world. Me: Why am I so tired right now? Phone: You know you went to sleep too late, right. Watch: Don’t know dude, same time you get up every day. Microwave: LIES! They’re LYING TO YOU.

All these cuts can be summed up very simply. They believe people are poor because they are lazy. No acknowledgement of the role generational wealth, education, and being abled plays in having a job that lets you afford to live. I want to live in a country that lifts people up, not grinds them down.

Maybe it’s time to start learning Korean?
