I've posted some art where I used AI to generate part of it (and openly said so), and I'm happy with the results.
The reason I haven't done more is entirely about the massive theft+waste issues.

I haven't found LLMs useful. Fixing all the ethical issues still wouldn't fix that.
But if you made an art bot that wasn't trained on mass art theft? (And didn't have the massive waste issues?) Yeah, I would be happy to use one of those. I've said so for years.

Please also remember that when a T&S team is extremely overworked and under-resourced, a massive write-in protest based on that one-sided presentation of the facts will do absolutely nothing but slow down the work even further, because now there's an extra 20,000 emails they have to weed out.

The Rally to Restore Sanity was 90% about criticizing Fox News for shameless right-wing fearmongering. There was no "both sides are equally bad/some liberals should be more centrist" message at any point! I've never understood why people pretend there was.
