I've built both, and aside from most of the good frameworks and agents themselves being private/internal, writing good agents is a rare skill where there aren't many discovered best practices yet, so most are dogshit.

I don't have a firm grasp on anything anymore, but this is kind of what I need to get to in some of the work I'm doing, so I want to use this book to also help identify any gaps and divert to those along the way.

Ah perfect. I definitely need dynamical systems moreso than control theory, but my aim on a first pass through the book is to find some gaps in the assumed knowledge (which I theoretically have but it's been a long time) and build out a small curriculum from there to get up to speed

btw what I did here was I took a data set of ChatGPT interactions collected in the wild and reversed the "assistant" and "user" tags. fine-tuned llama 8B on some of that data and gave it the ability to message you first. 😊

They’re much better than the regular energy drink flavor but the absolute best is the peach tea monster.

If you don’t care about sugar the mango juice ones are good too but the sugar crash is rough. No crash with the low sugar ones.
