The Best Practices that CISA released yesterday include a recommendation to stop using SMS for logins. This isn't the first time we've heard this recommendation. I hope it will motivate people to disable SMS where they can and request that option in places they can't.

I had to have them remove that feature from my account immediately as a form of “authentication.”
They sounded surprised I didn’t want it.
