Does it bother anyone that "noise" is modeled after color (white noise has all frequencies, brown has more low frequencies, etc.), but color is perceived (by us) through only red, green, & blue, so white is not "all" wavelengths? Vision is discrete, hearing is continuous!

What is the deal with water kefir? I've tried for more than a year now to coax some sort of interesting tang/funk/carbonation out of these little clear blobs. At best, I get vaguely sour sugar water. A secondary fermentation yields fruit-flavored sugar water. Is that all there is?
