It shouldn’t be, no, in the right context. But I can understand the feeling. It’s both the intent of the person speaking and the way we choose to receive it. 🥰

We just interpret criticism and a confirmation that we are not good enough. It takes effort to have the confidence to see the intent of the the feedback. I think this affects a lot of people.
