Is it only me that thinks it is illogical that Anis Mehmeti, one of the top 10 players in the English Championship, can not find a place in the Albanian NT while there are players invited from lower quality leagues and in much worse condition actually?

The Albanian NT list for the match against Serbia. Yes, Mehmeti is out again and looks like his ties with the NT are cut with Sylvinho in. Cake is the surprise in the list, he is doing well at Shkendija but never expected a player from the North Macedonia championship in our NT

Adrian Bajrami has rejected the call-up from the Albanian NT. The FA clarifies that he wants to switch to Switzerland. The defender has played only 3 friendly matches in 2022. Never been used by Sylvinho, was last on the bench against Latvia in June.

Having England as part of the World Cup draw and that NOT being the highlight for Albania, means there will be some tense days during the qualification campaign. I still think Albania and Serbia should have been kept apart in the draw. Football will come second
