Unless a relative gives your kids one of the stupid elves and they are disappointed every Christmas that it does not move or do mischief. I still don't do it but unfortunately some of this stuff is part of the Christmas zeitgeist

As someone starting to look at the options for secondary for my kid, the challenge is getting any openness from schools about the scope of their discipline policy when you visit them as a prospective parent. I'm appalled by these kind of sanctions, but 'internal exclusion' etc seem to be so common

There were piles of pumpkins here a week ago, but it seems that on Halloween morning, they are all disappeared and replaced with Xmas crap. Not too much rain, the girls had a lovely time...outfits looked good but will send pics of the more honed versions for the anderson's Halloween party later

Ah, thank you! Was looking for anything that I could carve with the kids on my day off work, but I think I have convinced them that making 'spooky cupcakes' is a suitable activity, before I get to the face paints so we can go trick or treating in the rain🙄
