It should be a "corruption" type story full of manipulation and blackmailing. But Landlady-san (we don't know her name for a while) is the perfect roommate and partner for our desperate heroine. The dreaded "favours" barely amount to a hug or a compliment. All regrets quickly vanish.

It's a love story that starts with the so-called endgame (sleeping together) but doesn't show it, and then builds the relationship back from the start with a tropey "sexy loser girl" and her perfect new landlady girlfriend who's attentive and helpful and very easy to satisfy with a hug.

Eh bien je ne suis pas sûre de le voir dans le nuage de mots qu'Akata vient de publier sur insta, et ils ont aussi annoncé qu'ils allaient réduire la cadence en 2026 (20 ouvrages en moins), donc je ne suis pas sûre de ce côté là 😖
