I’m a little moody right now. I started listening to 90’s Michael Jackson and Prince and then I remembered the perfect 90’s soundtrack for black women. “Waiting to Exhale” soundtrack is playing and I have a glass of wine and my mood has improved as I dance around my living room.

This is why I sleep with a blanket on my head. This is also why my sofa and bed are “covered” at all times. Some noise scared her and she wanted me to wake up. She got her wish. #Dogmom

I thought about restarting my podcast, “In the Simplest of Terms”. However, I don’t want to spend the next 4 years fully immersed in the ridiculous FOTUS bs working its way through the court system and legislature. I’m preserving my mental health as a member of the 92%.

I was all distraught about having to work tomorrow. Then I remembered that tomorrow will be day 3 of my 4-day weekend. I can happily continue reading instead of trying to sleep.

I cannot wait until June is over because I desperately need time off for rejuvenation and relaxation. Then I can spend several days on my sofa with my shih tzu, PS5, and figuring out Bluesky.
