I will be in Bremen presenting a paper (co-authored with @ludludlud.bsky.social)
titled “Don’t be a d1*k: Vibe-check as governance of platformized violence.”
The program for the #AoIR2025Symposium is now live✨
As a co-organizer, I’ve gotten to know this lineup inside and out by now & I can confidently say it’s going to be an incredible two days with some wonderful people.
And in true @aoir.bsky.social tradition I may have snuck in some karaoke too. 🕺

I casually mentioned to my students that I (actually) enjoyed writing academic articles. Last week they gave me “On Writing” by @stephenking.bsky.social as a present. Will report back but please note, I am biased 🥰.
