Have finished 5 of 7 Yorgos Lanthimos films. Admittedly, all rewatches. I have Kinds Of Kindness and Bugonia left, neither of which I've seen. It will be difficult for either of those films to unseat "Poor Things" as my favourite Lanthimos film.

On the surface, "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You" is about the trials and tribulations of being a mother but I think it's about much more than that. I reacted very strongly to it. Loved the offbeat casting but Rose Byrne...damn, she's good. It's one of the best films of the year.

Off tomorrow, so it's movie/TV marathon time. I don't know everything that I'm gonna watch yet, but I am starting with the best titled film of 2025, "If I Had Legs I'd Kick You".

So, while my car is off getting fixed, I have a loaner vehicle in the meantime. Only thing is that I have to explain to people why I have a vanity license plate that says "I love quilting".

Guillermo del Toro's "Frankenstein" is, arguably, the greatest superhero origin story ever made - but I'm not sure if that statement is a compliment.
