Personally, if one of my friends said all of this to me, I would want to know the other side of the story. There's always more than 1 take and just bc we grew up together doesn't mean I automatically take your side.

I'll add my 2 cents just as my experience is different:
Masculinity is fragile and far too many men seek the validation of their "peers" to their detriment instead of listening to the conscience for direction. Real male friendships do exist and often the hard questions are asked, maybe not publicly

My AC gets turned OFF when it gets below 60 tbh. Heat doesn't come on until about mid 40s because I like blankets.

If you costume this year is "ice agent" then you deserve whatever happens to you. Ain't no way anyone can see whats happening and think "oh let me be funny" unless their brain is rotten to the core.
