hah, this is the second time i see this and now i finally get what was wrong. dunno why, kinda zoned out on the insert delete, pageup pagedown and forgot to look at the arrows :)

slices triggered. If less than 119 slices, then it defaults to using the keymapping notes instead of `0Sxx`.

create your own combined shortcut macros, such as, a shortcut that turns on Metronome, Edit Mode, Play and Pattern Follow (and moves you to Pattern Editor), for instance.
