I'm throwing myself into baking and cooking because it's one piece of bodily autonomy I still have--unless or until they take away my SNAP. I can choose to fill myself with delicious food, made from ingredients that don't make me ill. It's not fighting, but it's not nothing.

I'm really not sure how any of this will pan out. I was on facebook (thefacebook) for over 20 years, and now... Now what? I never say too much, but I've appreciated the communities in that space that I was quietly a part of. This isolation feels somewhat punitive.
