Sorry to hear that. The ARM cpus are night and day different in terms of energy and running cool but I’m sure you have your reasons for hanging on to that intel MBP. 👍🏻

It’s not Windows, it doesn’t need to be shutdown. I had one MacBook with uptime just over a year before having to restart it.
