Saying "nation of laws" w straight face is ironic. I've wondered, would my life be different if I'd had $. I don't break laws, as they apply only to people like me & get harsher for those who have less. I value my decency & don't want to break laws so I despise those who don't think laws apply.

Those were the days when I enjoyed shopping. I knew I wouldn't be stalked.

I don't use loyalty cards. I let the clerk use his or hers whenever I can. All the discount w/o the contact tracing.

When I worked in the office I placed a sign on my desk when I was not in the mood for talk:

"Laryngitis." Worked like a charm, but be forewarned that people would still stop to read the sign. Tsk.
