Kucherov will go down as one of the most under appreciated players of this generation. Everyone knows he’s great but I don’t think people understand how much NHL players respect his game. I think there is a difference between underrated and under appreciated. He’s not underrated at all

The writing on the wall has to be that Girard is a trade piece. Stinks because he definitely has improved his defensive side of the game, not the Sammy G from 4 years ago

Also, not at all comparing the two but Lane just won the Calder so I think a team can take a smaller d man if they have a bigger partner

Just didn’t know if a puck moving defenseman that’s young would get. Compare that to Manson, little older and injury issues.

After July 1st I suppose. Out of girard, Manson, and Colton who do you see them trading and who would you personally trade and keep. Girard has more value but I like him better then Manson

Lindgreen analytics didn’t look great tonight because he was unlucky when being out there for poor turnovers. He got stuck on long shifts when we couldn’t clear yet he was always playing hard and seemed to make the right play defensively. Offensively he looked ehh. What’s your take on his first game

“Lindgreen is awful this year” yeah look at all the D men in New York. They’re all god awful. The start of the d core their going down was last year as well. The guy is not a top line D man which he was playing. He’s a second or third pair guy who we got for 2.25. Much better then de haan.

Look at all the D men on NYR and there cards look awful. Fox is a shell of himself compared to the past couple of seasons. Miller looks dreadful and is having his worst year.

I don’t get how people think this is a bad trade. Lingreen has history of playing with Adam Fox and was very good in the playoffs last year for NYR. Vessey is a depth player that will be good in the playoffs over Wood. We don’t need anymore bottom 6 centers. People upset by draft picks is confusing

I will love Mikko forever but it’s wild to see the pace of play with Nate, Necas, Lehky, Cale and Toews together. Other Lehky and Toews can dump and chase and give us own possessions but we honestly have three players that can enter the zone at will

I know you asked him but just off my own opinion they knew of the upcoming cap. The owners met a month before this and projected this cap with knowing it was most likely gonna happen. They for sure pushed that info to Cmac. I think he looked at Cales contract and getting more depth in the future

Just on your own opinion, I know Bednar said not anytime soon. But when do you think drouin, wood, or Manson will be back in the line up. Assuming after the holidays?

It’s shocking how juice was playing decent when Georgie was struggling, now Georgie is playing decent and juice can’t stop a thing. I really under appreciated Francouz

If this team continues to play like this, 4th line humming and assuming Colton plays 3C. What do you see as pieces to add at the trade deadline. Most likely goalie? A faceoff specialist, Nico Sturm like? Or a bottom 4 D man? This is hoping Landy comes back and plays somewhere in the lineup.
