Three workshops are planned:
🗓️ Sept 29–Oct 3, 2025: Regularity of free boundary problems
🗓️ Nov 10–14, 2025: Geometric variational problems
🗓️ Dec 9–12, 2025: Free boundaries and growth

Very excited to kick off our workshop at @esivienna.bsky.social on "Putting the cosmic large-scale structure on the map" today. Looking forward to a week of discussions around extracting the maximum of cosmological information from astronomical observations. Amazing support by the ESI team. Thanks!

The program explores automorphic forms, focusing on Langlands functoriality, automorphic L-functions, and connections to geometry—especially locally symmetric spaces linked to arithmetic subgroups of reductive algebraic groups over number fields.

The Workshop: Eisenstein Series, Spaces of Automorphic Forms, and Applications, organized by Neven Grbac, Marcela Hanzer, Stephen S. Kudla & Joachim Schwermer, has just begun—and it's off to a fantastic start!

It’s always amazing to see the many talents of the people we welcome here at the ESI—scientific and artistic! 🎨🧠

As a goodbye gift, Prof. Andreas Weiermann brought us a beautiful self-made acrylic painting of Erwin Schrödinger. Thank you so much! 🙏

Last day at @esivienna.bsky.social for a week! I'm developing a suspicion that the only games allowed in the lounge other than chess are cat themed. Not pictured: Exploding Kittens.
A photo of the board for the game Cats and Boxes, partway through a game. Some cats are in boxes, some are still out in the open.
