Curious, with questions. Fan of clear thinking, justice and actual expertise. Finance career, "Not a regular accountant." Not a bot.
The law is only a blunt instrument for robbery and beatings by this team.

"The ordinary statesman or military man is generally obsessed by bygone ideas and methods. He always prepares for the last war, and it is necessary to prepare for the next." Robert Blanchard, English Journalist 1919.

This is our "Blitzkrieg". Tanks overrunning horse cavalry.
To #47 it IS war.

Great analysis on the pain and the volume of psychic break in our understanding of reality amid chaos and mayhem. I had a discussion this week about the differences amounting to "...different planets we live on. I report from mine. They report from theirs."

The close: "...a little bit richer and a bit more exciting than it was before." hits like an opening pitch about our times.
Me: NO!

This is unfortunately true. Media paid positions are the ultimate "Pay your dues first OPPORTUNITIES" Don't like the work conditions, hours or your scumbag managers? "There's a line outside waiting, so either do what you're asked or pack your s*#t. NEXT!"

Thank you.
I've been wondering for a while now: "Where are the musicians?" Here's hoping more pick themselves up and walk "toward" the fight.

I think it was the streaming backbone for all the in-seat entertainment.
No way is United hosting it all w/a serveron every plane. Reliable recurring corporate vendor revenue for Starlink.
Astronomy professionals hate it, and density's a ticking bomb for near earth satellites. Collisions coming.

Rope a dope. He enjoys watching violence and threatening people. Gonna shift.

United Airlines.

Tesla stock is over priced, but they all are. $800b means you can bury a lot of $100m mistakes. Favorite take?
"His one skill is taking advantage." The stock is just chess pieces to him for advantage. Biggest ridiculous stretch goal comp packages while he sells hope & sci-fi. He IS good there. 2/2

40 yrs in finance. Stint in PE and aerospace too. 2010 a Tesla fan, but not now. Terrible person. Lot of articles in aviation circles this summer re: Starlink $'s.
Me? Captive launch capability and mass manufacturing IS an edge. A Dec airline flight used Starlink for Internet, which was new. 1/2

Phone calls? Smells like Palantir feeding ICE consolidated data.
January 27, 2026 at 12:41 AM
Unfortunately, Starlink is currently a cash cow funding other stuff, and I'll bet dinner at a fine restaurant he's sitting on a ton of personal data from government databases. 100% agree that PE isn't interested in anything under 20% returns. Also that the stock IS the product.

Glad to see it. Unfortunately, after the whole DEI reversal by 'Merica, I'll wait to see if it sticks. We're being desensitized on purpose.
January 27, 2026 at 12:28 AM
At least that part is clearly out in the open. It's terrible, but that should be pointed out relentlessly. It's high time we deal with that reality.
January 27, 2026 at 12:22 AM
💯 going to try. This administration is populated with "Born to RULE!" believers that have no intention of losing. It's a fight for survival to them, that they already view as war.
A friend described conversations with coworkers who "...reported from their planet", while he reported from his.

This is Charley Brown with Lucy holding the football. Absolutely not an honest request, it's an "Ask for the moon" open, and then pull the rug or cheat from that point on. Underneath is the "Make me if you think you can.", core #47 "Take it or leave it." They're all bullies at the core.

Play with wordsmith, get "touchéd" 🤷‍♂️

Great read. Facing the truth is step 1.

For most people, this is "deferred" to a future where "retirement" is possible. IMO/observation, the current "production system" (not just factory; ANY paid labor position) is KPI'd at some level to extract the absolute MAXIMUM hours out of an individual. The energy's gone for leisure or thinking.

Also the whole "microservice" and "portal" reference? Whose hardware is this running on?
