A Skeksis from "The Dark Crystal". It has a skeletal vulture-like head and claw-like blue hands. It is wearing bone-like armour on its upper torso with long, curved horns on the shoulder over a red-lined blue robe that looks old & possibly frayed. It is holding a large axe in its left claw with a number of other possible weapons hanging from a belt around its waist.

Two hardback books by Tom Cox. Granny Weatherwax was often angry. She considered it one of her strong points. Genuine anger was one of the world's greatest creative forces. But you had to learn how to control it. That didn't mean you let it trickle away. it meant you dammed it, carefully, let it develop a working head, let it drown whole valleys of the mind and then, just when the whole structure was about to collapse, opened a tiny pipeline at the base and let the iron-hard stream of wrath power the turbines of revenge.

"Tetanus Following Gunshot Wounds," 1809. By the surgeon and artist Sir Charles Bell, the painting depicts a soldier suffering from tetanus.
Painting shows a prone, naked, adult male - back arched off the floor. He is balanced on his head & heels as his feet bend downwards & even his toes are curled. Both arms are bent & both hands form fists. His facial muscles are also locked in spasm with his lips pulled back revealing his teeth in the typical rictus "grin" that gave tetanus its nickname: lockjaw.
