current thoughts:
A. pre-made maps that get put into RNG instead so it's still Technically random
B. set maps but instead implement an energy system so it becomes more about resource management

leaning towards B currently so i can focus more on the actual game mechanics over getting RNG to work

anyway, gamedev things, the way its so insanely hard to find tutorials for exact things on unity visual scripting so i just gotta keep ramming my head against the code to make it work how i want to. genuinely getting to a point where im thinking abt taking out the RNG image placements for the map

Finally got a 2nd job but also now this means I gotta wake up at like 5:30am every day while also still having my night job on certain days so i'll be afk from 7am to 10pm sometimes. Im gonna be so fucking tired all the time but I need this to financially survive.

I realized I never really posted much about my trip to Columbus for CXC.

What an adventure it was. I met @espedrawsthings.bsky.social, got to see Jeff Smith in person and saw some amazing artifacts from the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum.

I am definitely going back next year.
