Yup I did, the functions are already in the game it was a matter of hacking the game to enable the dynamic light during gameplay.

Hi John, I hope this tip isn't too late for your comparisson, but if you set to off ( and press A to apply the change) in the second option after draw distance, ped and car, the game will revert to the same camera system as the ps2, otherwise it will use the PSP camera scheme, look at the screenshot
