“On May 4, 2021, the Ninth Circuit ruled in Lemmon v. Snap, Inc. that Snap does not enjoy Section 230 immunity for product-design claims — a landmark ruling that exposed the company to design-defect liability for the first time. On July 21, an eleven-year-old in Enfield, Connecticut died.”

No Facebook if you’re under 16.

This one automates the process of highlighting changes in legal documents (in this case, Netflix’s Terms of Use and a tweak to their cancellation policy) and generates a visual summary that can drop right into a paper or report.

Heres the output figure for the above.

Over the weekend I worked on a feature for tostracker.app that I needed, and hopefully it'll have utility for others: automatic figure generation for (likely mostly academic) writing.

Testing a tostracker.app feature to generate figures of set changes in TOS/privacy policies/etc. for academic writing purposes.

Aww hell yeah man. What if the dog isn't dead, it's just resting?

What if tomorrow remembers us better than today ever could?

What if the dream didn't die, it just changed its name?

What if I'm stronger now because I broke back then?

What if letting go is another form of holding on?

This guy has been thoroughly cleaned and restored to good operation. He will live in my office at Drexel to remind students that, despite my youthful demeanor, I am in fact impossibly old.

If America has an "imperial presidency," it is an empire, yes? And who leads an empire? Is there a title?

So then what might you say he is behaving like? Starts with an "E" and ends with an "mperor."

Why not state it plainly (or not at all)?

Long line but got to see and hear the Wanamaker organ for hopefully not the last time.

Half thinking out loud half fishing for ideas.

I have been toying with ways to integrate the Mastodon instance ( https://esq.social ) into my Law, Technology, and Regulation (undergraduate) class for Winter.

Maybe group working through a privacy policy? TOS?

My favorite part about Trump loving Bloodsport (1988) is remembering the entire "based on a true" story was made up by a guy who bought a Halloween costume army uniform, said he was in the Marines, claimed he won the Medal of Honor, and was champion of a made up underground fighting tournament.

Obviously consumers feel the bulk of the economic incidence of tariffs, full stop. But who does he /think/ he is referring to here? Who is stocking up? Importers? Domestic importers?

The details of the Community Worship Fellowship case will live on in my tax policy class -- an example of where the limits vis a vis tax exempt status for religious organizations seem to live now.
