Dangerous is my latest novel. A dark historical crime mystery, featuring Lord Byron in Venice and a spate of Vampiric style killings. Is he innocent or guilty?

One dark and stormy night in May 1816, Lord Byron challenged his guests at the Villa Diodati to write a horror story. Mary Shelley began Frankenstein, but what came of Byron's own idea? The answer lies in my article in Historia magazine. www.historiamag.com/byron-vampir... @orendabooks.bsky.social

I'm simply blown away by the responses to early readers of Dangerous. Lord Byron was so much more than the two dimensional figure he's so often painted as today. Thank you, David. This is wonderful.

Yesterday, I went Clays the printer and signed copies of the HB of Dangerous which will be published on April 24th. It's such a beautiful book - sometimes it looks black, and then the light catches and it flares up into red. The spredges are gorgeous. Ornamented pages too. @orendabooks.bsky.social

My publisher @Orendabooks has posted the first page of my new novel, Dangerous. A brief introduction to the opening of Lord Byron's coffin to prove the body exists, and hasn't been stolen by ressurrectionists. The body is there - but also something else. A secret memoir about his life in Venice ...
