Well the 3 books I am currently reading I wont complete until next year. So I finished “88” books this year. 7 more than last year. Seems my average over 8 years is “76”

Building a world in Poetry

The idea came up after I spent around 6 months unconsciously writing almost branded theme poems with so many of the same interconnected themes, and with death Metal like ideas. After re-reading and editing them I noticed a few things.

So a interesting thought and discussion I have been having. Building a world with poetry. I found in my upcoming chapbook I have created various themes, world hooks and interconnected world stories. So I feel you can build a world using poetry just like fiction.

My Artistic expression

I am tone deaf as they come. I do find artistic expression of any kind can have the same effect. For me laying down rhythmic poetry lines that rhyme soothe my soul and allows me destress my mind.

How I see myself as a artist.

I think anyone who creates art in anyway Will see things differently and is probably a little insane compared to normal people. I think I am, considering my poetry and story themes which are pretty dark and I don’t always know where they come from.
